6”x6”. I painted this after meeting up with a woman who messaged me on instagram. I felt this chaotic, unknown energy swirling about me and I painted this when I got home to help me process what I experienced, and I called it “Meeting [woman’s name]”. I met up with her one other time and felt violently uncomfortable. I talked about it with my therapist after and realized that she treated me similarly to how past abusers treated me. I texted her saying I didn't want to see her again, and I changed the name of the painting to “Letting Go”.
